Shay also brings invaluable experience from his engagements with the Federal Government, where he contributed to enhancing Indigenous procurement processes. Additionally, his role at the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business highlights his dedication to supporting Indigenous economic growth and development, where he played a crucial role in enhancing Indigenous procurement engagement among private sector and government entities.
One of Shay's most notable accomplishments is his leadership in providing business and economic development advisory services to Indigenous communities and businesses. He co-led the Indigenous Consulting Practice at MNP for Ontario and Quebec, where he successfully worked with over 50 First Nations across the country.
Shay holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, with a double major in Finance and Economics.
