SHAY MCFADDEN, PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Bringing over a decade of experience as a decisive, insightful, and data-driven consultant and advisor, Shay has a robust track record of guiding senior leadership teams, shaping organizational strategies, and spearheading transformative projects. His expertise spans both Indigenous and non-Indigenous governments, organizations, and businesses.

His work with First Nations communities and organizations encompassed a wide range of engagements, from economic development, policy development, and operation reviews to social, health, and cultural initiatives. Shay also brings invaluable experience from his engagements with the Federal Government, where he contributed to enhancing Indigenous procurement processes. Additionally, his role at the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business highlights his dedication to supporting Indigenous economic growth and development, where he played a crucial role in enhancing Indigenous procurement engagement among private sector and government entities. 

One of Shay's most notable accomplishments is his leadership in providing business and economic development advisory services to Indigenous communities and businesses. He co-led the Indigenous Consulting Practice at MNP for Ontario and Quebec, where he successfully worked with over 50 First Nations across the country.

Shay holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, with a double major in Finance and Economics. He continues to drive impactful change, leveraging his extensive experience and deep understanding of the Indigenous landscape. His passion for economic empowerment, community development, and strategic advisory makes him a trusted partner for clients seeking innovative and sustainable solutions.
