Paul is the Founder, President and CEO of Dable Advisory and Consulting Services and has over 15 years’ experience in finance, business development, strategy, deal negotiation and revenue generation. Dable provides strategic and financial insights by focusing on what is feasible, actionable, and attainable. Paul is also an investor and entrepreneur.
As a senior finance executive for the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK), Paul successfully negotiated several transactions generating over $200M in new revenues for his community of Kahnawà:ke spanning multiple industries, including gaming and infrastructure.
Paul has previously served as the chairperson to the community pension plan of over 1,000 public sector employees. The plan has a 12% annualized return and plan assets have grown from $80M to $250M under Paul’s tenure.
Paul is a Mohawk at Kahnawà:ke and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) at Concordia University. He is also an alumnus of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference (GGCLC). Paul also believes in the power of sport and paying it forward through his work with the Not-for-Profit Club 24 Athletics Foundation as well as the First Tee golf program in Kahnawà:ke.
Paxton has worked at Dable Advisory and Consulting Services since June 2022. Born and raised in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke, she is proud to be Kanien’kehá:ka.
Paxton has several years of experience working various sectors such as childhood education, sexual education, the food and beverage industry, alcohol and grocery management, and administration.
She has strengths in problem solving and is detail-oriented. She is in charge of the day-to-day tasks at the Dable office, supporting the CEO & President and overseeing event logistics.
Paxton has been a community representative on the Board of Directors at the Kahnawake Youth Center since 2021, is a part-time photographer, a multi-team soccer coach and has recently founded The Kahnawake Senior Women’s Soccer Team, re-introducing senior aged soccer to the community. She strongly believes in community involvement and inter-personal relationships.
Shay is a proven decisive, insightful, data-driven business strategist offering 7+ years of experience advising senior leadership teams, influencing organizational direction, and leading transformative projects for Indigenous and non-Indigenous governments, organizations, and businesses. For the past couple of years Shay has been working with some of the leading Indigenous Consulting firms in Canada, working with First Nation communities and organizations of a vast array of engagements and some of the largest corporations in Canada on their Indigenous engagement initiatives.
Shay has also worked with the Federal Government on initiatives to enhance Indigenous procurement as well as providing business and economic development advisory services to multiple Indigenous communities and businesses and has formerly led the Indigenous Consulting Practice at MNP for Ontario and Quebec, Canada’s fifth-largest Advisory and Accounting Firm. Shay has worked with over 100 First Nations across Canada over the course of his career.
Carsyn is a recent graduate from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce. Her academic path began with a major in General Management prior to declaring and graduating with a concentration in Strategic Management and a minor in Psychology. Upon admission to Desautels, she was granted the Provost’s Indigenous Achievement Award which is given to Indigenous students with exceptional high school or CEGEP grades. Prior to completing her bachelor’s degree at McGill, Carsyn received a Diploma of Collegial Studies for the Commerce program from Dawson College.
Carsyn has worked for seven (7) years within her community of Kahnawà:ke holding different positions for multiple organizations within the territory, including the Kahnawà:ke Education Center, the Kahnawà:ke Youth Center and at an 100% women-owned indigenous business as a retail associate and social media advisor. With this experience, Carsyn has been able to become well-versed working within a community setting as well as with the private sector.
Aliyah is a Kanien’kehá:ka woman from the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke. She is currently enrolled at Dawson College in the General Social Science program and plans on pursuing a major in marketing and a minor in communications.
Since October 2022 Aliyah has worked at Dable Advisory and Consulting Services in Branding, Marketing and Sales and has provided Dable with business analysis and successful promotional pieces. Aliyah has several years of experience working within one of the most popular global fast-food franchises where she gained experience working within a team setting and improving customer experience. Due to her efforts, Aliyah was promoted several times within only two years of employment.
Further, she has also worked within inventory and sales for an Indigenous business and has an interest in giving back to her community through volunteering. The institutions Aliyah has volunteered at include the Kateri Food Basket, the Kahnawake Youth Center and Kahnawake’s Animal Protection service where she ensured the proper functioning of the organization’s services.
